InStyle Stamps November Blog Hop - Ornaments

Hi there,

Welcome to the November InStyle Stamps Blog Hop!! This months hop theme is Ornaments.

When I was younger I used to decorate glass ornaments so I decided that I would use up some more of those glass ornaments that I have just kept stashed in the closet. I printed Sandy out on normal white cardstock. I tried to print her out on acetate paper like a tutorial on SCS says to but my printer is an InkJet and Sandy just got smeared and the coloring didn't look that great when using Sharpies, so I printed her out on white cardstock and cute her out. Problem solved!!

Enjoy!!!!

Now head on over to Melissa's blog to continue your way on the hop. If you didn't come here from Janelle's blog then either head on over to the InStyle Stamps Blog to start at the beginning of the ISS blog hop or follow these links:
Raquel (That's me!!)

Then don't forget to return to the ISS blog after visiting all the DT blogs and comment for your chance to win a prize and vote for your favorite DT project!

But if your reading this then your at home blog surfing, maybe if your lucky and you have wireless internet connection on your laptop you might be sitting on a bench at a park reading this. A little about me...

Hi there,

Sorry I haven't been around lately. With school and still not feeling too good and now catching a cold, I just haven't had my usual mojo. I will try my best though.

As for now I want to show you all some pictures that my boyfriend and I took yesterday at a wedding that he was in. His best guy friend from high school married his best girl friend from elementary school. They were together since high school and they finally got married yesterday. We were so excited for them. The wedding was gorgeous!!! Since we were both dressed up I decided to take a few photos of us.

Also today makes one year since the day we started talking. We got together after talking at his brothers wedding who got married a year ago today. We have quit the interesting story, I think it's always funny when I tell it. It's such a coincidence that we ended up together, it must have just meant to be. We have known each other forever, our families are good friends and I have always had the biggest crush on Daniel since I was young. When I found out his brother was getting married I told my brother that he had to take me as his guest, just so that I could talk to Daniel and maybe exchange numbers and what not. Sure enough we hit it off real well and here we are today, one year later. He is an absolutely amazing man, and I am so blessed that he is part of my life!!!

One year ago today this picture was randomly taken of us by Daniel's aunt as we walked to the dance floor.

And who knew that one year later we would still be together, the happiest couple ever, and still being photographed together. It must have been meant for us and I am so happy for that!!!

Thanks for stopping by today, don't forget to come back for Monday's Digital-Ink Co. Challenge and for the first ever Digital-Ink Co. Sneak Peeks!! Have a great day!!!

ISS Welcome Paris Scene

Hi there,

Just a quick post today. I'm still not feeling myself, I think the cold weather Halloween night got to me. After dancing all night and getting hot and then going outside into the cold, I probably should have brought a jacket but I figured my nun costume would have kept me warm, but I guess it might not have been enough. We will see what happens in the next few days. As for those pictures I said I would share, I left my camera in the car cause I didn't have a place for it so some of my girlfriends got a few pics so when I get a hold of them I'll definitely share with you all.

As for now, I just finished my daily blog hopping and now I'm debating whether I want to start creating or if I should do my well needed errands and then come back and start creating. We shall see!!!

InStyle Stamps New Blog

InStyle Stamps has moved, they are now on Blogger!!! And we are all so excited!!!! There had been so many problems with the InStyle Stamps blog on Wordpress. So ISS decided to start over fresh on Blogger. That way they can keep track of their subscribers and upload their projects easier.

Their blog will still have the same line-up:

Method Monday - every monday
Wednesday Challenges - Three Wednesdays per month
Over the Hump Day blog candy give-a-way - 2nd Wednesday of the month
Blog Hop - Every last Friday of the month.

Club Anime - InStyle Stamps decided to make Club Anime public. Now you can view the blog and participate in the challenges. The exclusive images for Club Anime will be available on the 1st of each month but those that are members will get them before. They've had to discontinue the kits for the time being until they can get that all squared away so only images will be available. However they will still be hosting a sketch challenge on the 2nd of each month and the color challenge on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
InStyle stamps will be implementing an all new reward program that will allow everyone that participates in all of their challenges both on their ISS blog and the Club Anime blog earn points that will be able to be cashed in for stamps! How awesome is that?!!!

Also with their new blog the first 150 people to subscribe to the blog by 6 pm, Monday, November 9th will be given a free digital image or free digital paper of their choice. You must subscribe by the time frame given and leave a comment on this post with your email address.

Hurry on over there for more details and for your chance at this great offer!!!!

D-IC Mouse on Broom

Happy Halloween!!!!

Yeah it's finally tonight!!! I'm so excited, I feel like a little kid again, lol!! So my boyfriend and I were going to be Vampire's but that fell through when my costume wasn't at the store and it was only online. I didn't want to risk ordering it and then it not getting here on time. I don't know. So we changed our minds lol, Daniel thought it would be funny to be a priest and a nun so that is what we are doing tonight. It is probably a better idea any way since the nun costume will keep me warm and away from getting sicker as I am still trying to cure my bronchitis. I'm sure I will have some pictures to share with you. I tried my costume on the day I bought it and when I saw myself in the mirror I literally laughed out loud, it was pretty funny. Although it's not the first time I put on a nun outfit, it is the first time in many years. The last time I tried one on was probably when I was 7 or something. If your wondering, my neighbor back home was once a nun, she still does nun things but doesn't wear the outfit, so I guess when we were little she thought it would be funny or cute to put my sister and I in it. I'll have to look for the picture when I stop by on Monday and then I can show you both picture lol.

As for today I just want to share with you a Halloween card. I got this super cute Mouse & Broom image from Digital-Ink Co. This lil mouse makes quite the cute witch, hopefully we won't be seeing any of them flying around tonight, lol!

Enjoy!!!!

Thanks for stopping by, have a spooktacular day and enjoy all of your event tonight!!!!

This months hop theme is Set the Table. InStyle Stamps has release some great stamps this month!! They have release a line called Recipe and those are some of the images you will be seeing today in my post.

Since this months hop theme is Set the Table I thought to myself, "You can't set the table if you don't have a meal to set the table for, right??", so for my project I made Recipe Cards and a Recipe Box to store your recipes in.

Enjoy!!!!

D-IC Halloween Haunted House

Boo!!!!

Hehe, Hi there!!! I'm getting a little excited here, Halloween is right around the corner!! I haven't been feeling myself so hopefully I will be able to participate in Halloween events on Saturday. My boyfriend and I have several parties to attend and we have decided to go as Vampires so I think that will be fun. He wants me to paint his face and make him all up, not sure how that will go but I think I'll have fun putting him all together, Im not sure I want to paint my face though, but we will see. We are supposed to match so I think I may have to paint my face, as much as I don't really want to.

As for today I have a spooky card for you! This Haunted House is an image from Digital-Ink Co. by Reeces Designs. It's definitely quite the spooky house, I know  I wouldn't want to be near it any time at night!!!

Enjoy!!!

ISS Slice of Cake

Goodmorning,

I hope you are all doing well this morning! I'm still under the weather but hopefully these antibiotics will start kicking in and kick'n some virus butt cause I can't stand coughing anymore! This breathing treatment that I take for the cough makes my heart beat fast and it makes me shaky. The doctor warned me about this but I didn't think the symptoms would be so noticeable.

Anyways, here is another InStyle Stamps image. This one is called Slice of Cake. I decided to make it more real by adding some liquid applique to the inside of the cake and add some textured to the top by adding some flower soft.

Enjoy my delicious looking cake!!!
